A Look At My Editing Process

Are you tired of seeing senior photos that look like they've been through a plastic surgery filter? Fear not, my dear friend, because I've got a different approach to editing that's all about embracing your natural beauty.

When it comes to senior photos, Photoshop can be a tricky beast. But here's the thing: I believe that capturing the right colors, poses, and composition in-camera means that I don't have to do too much editing. And when I do, I make sure it's in a way that preserves as many of your natural features as possible.

Here are three ways I keep it real in my editing process for your senior photos

  1. Natural skin texture: I want your skin to look like skin, not a plastic version of it. So, I'll make sure to keep your pores, beauty marks, and freckles in the final image. But don't worry, I'll also get rid of any blemishes or rough skin texture that might be distracting.

  2. Natural features: I want these photos to represent you as you are now, and that means not messing with your nose, cheekbones, lips, or waist. You're beautiful just the way you are, and I want to showcase that.

  3. Natural colors: I'll make sure that your skin tone, the greens in the background, and the colors of your clothes and hair all look as natural as possible. No orange skin or neon greens here! I will keep the colors true to life, so you will look like you, not some edited version of you.

My goal is to enhance your natural beauty… not to change the way you look.

I know you don’t want to look like someone else in your senior pictures… just the best YOU possible. That’s why I pride myself on an organic editing process that maintains skin texture, skin tone, colors present in the image, etc.

Your teeth won’t be a blinding shade of white, your skin will actually have pores, your eyes will remain their real color, and it won’t look like we edited your pics with an Instagram filter. Nope… no fake tones or processes here!

My goal is to enhance your natural beauty, not change the way you look. I want your senior photos to show the best version of you, not someone else. So, if you're looking for a photographer who'll give you a more organic and natural approach to editing, I'd love to work with you.

Just connect with me and I'll send you my Senior Magazine with more information about my process, the senior timeline, pricing, and everything else you need to know. Let's make some beautiful, natural memories together!
